Check out our new mobile medical unit!

Oct 14, 2021

Meet the newest member of our team!

We are now operating this fully equipped mobile medical unit, that can travel to a patient’s home or community.

This service will help us reach more people in rural communities, who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the care they need.

This “traveling clinic” is staffed by a professional medical provider and assistant. It will provide private and confidential healthcare, including primary and infectious disease care, labs, and vaccines.

Appointments are available to any person living with HIV, in or around East Tennessee.

Help us continue to eliminate barriers to care, and donate today! A $50 gift could pay for a tank of gas!

The State of Tennessee’s decision to not accept federal funding for HIV prevention services came as a surprise to us and similar organizations. While we remain hopeful for a resolution, as things stand now, our contract to provide these services will end May 31, 2023. Our team is exploring ways to ensure that these important services will remain available in our community and will keep you apprised of those efforts.

Ryan White and HOPWA services, along with our medical clinic, are not affected by this decision.

In late 2022, Positively Living/Choice Health Network was named an HIV/AIDS Center of Excellence – validating the quality of care we provide the community. All of our services continue uninterrupted, and our locations across the state are open.

Thank you for trusting us with your care. Together, we will keep working toward a future of health, equity and hope.
